Hellenism

For nearly a 100 years, we have promoted the ancient Hellenic ideals of education, philanthropy, civic responsibility, family and individual excellence through community service and volunteerism.

Founded in 1922

Founded in 1922 in Atlanta, Georgia, on the principles that undergirded its fight for civil rights and against discrimination, bigotry, and hatred felt at the hands of the Ku Klux Klan, AHEPA is the largest and oldest grassroots association of American citizens of Greek heritage and Philhellenes with more than 400 chapters across the United States, Canada, and Europe.

AHEPA is one of the oldest, largest, and independent (non-politicized - non-partisan) organizations, dedicated to promoting Greek issues (issues) throughout the world.

With more than 40,000 members in her family, Achepa has contributed numerous medical donations to help find employment in the United States. and abroad as well as in student scholarship programs.

Through Greek language programs and cultural events, AHEPA continues to bring together Greek communities worldwide.

Greece belongs to the administrative district 25, in zone 10 of Europe. There are 40 branches throughout Greece with more than 1100 members.
